Magic Bus Evolution: better together
We ask for your support for a mobile awareness campaign on the topic of psychedelics.

Magic Bus Evolution - better together (8-19.4.2026)
Magic Bus Evolution - Better Together is a nationwide education and dialogue project run by Eleusis (www.eleusis-society.ch), the Swiss psychedelic association. Eleusis translates as “Advent” or “place of happy arrival” and is associated with “Elysion,” the island of the blessed. It is also the city of Elefsina, 20 km from Athens in Greece. In our cultural history, Eleusis appears as a last sanctuary that brought the visionary experience into an institutional form, between transparency and confidentiality, between politics and sanctuary. The history of psychedelics therefore does not begin in the laboratory, but in ritual, long before our time…
From April 8 to 19, 2026, a specially designed awareness bus will travel through Switzerland to raise public awareness of psychedelic research, risk reduction, and social integration. The bus will start in Geneva, then travel via Lausanne, Fribourg, Bern, and Porrentruy to Basel, presenting a specific program on the topic at each stop. The journey will end with a celebration on April 19 in Basel, the historic site of Bicycle Day, which is dedicated to the discovery of LSD by chemist Albert Hofmann. Inspired by Hofmann's desire for a “contemporary Eleusis,” this project combines science, cultural history, psychosocial education, and community. The goal is to foster a competently informed public discussion about psychedelics—beyond hype and stigmatization.
We are moving - so that society can move. This project opens up a space for information and new perspectives, for encounters and cultural history. It ties in with ancient traditions of human meaning-seeking and translates them into the needs of our present. MAGIC BUS EVOLUTION is thus education in motion and makes an important contribution to the development of a sustainable form of collective consciousness culture.
To organize the tour, we are looking for the following forms of support:
- Financial donations (bus rental/insurance, informational materials, gas, etc.) • Local contacts in the respective cities of Geneva and Lausanne
- Students studying communication/media have the opportunity to complete an internship related to this project.
If you have any questions, please contact us at: contact@eleusis-society.ch
