Goals of the Association
Promoting the understanding of psychedelic substances through research, dialogue, and harm reduction to foster objective public debate in Switzerland.
Eleusis is a non-profit organization based in Switzerland that focuses on the so-called "psychedelic" movement (from the Greek: "making the psyche visible"). The association is an open network and a platform for everyone who wants to learn more about the following topics:
- Psychedelic substances and approaches
- the history of its use for therapeutic, medical, creative, recreational, and spiritual purposes in our and other cultures
- the phenomenon and potential of psychedelic substances in these areas, today and in the future (missing verb something like presenting)
- the development of application practices and protocols, taking into account their individual and societal challenges and impacts.
Furthermore, the association promotes a better understanding of psychedelics by fostering dialogue and research, particularly in Switzerland. Recommendations for reducing the risks associated with their use, as well as support and experience reports, can be offered. The association can also organize events (conferences, debates, film screenings, etc.) related to the topics mentioned above. In this way, the association participates in public discussions and debates in an objective and prudent manner, which deal with the place and status of these substances in our society.
